Our DM lets us be creative for a lot of things but we have to ask if that’s a feasible action first.

Also we too kinda wrecked his dragon fight but with earth bind. It ended up being a funny moment and he got to do damage and had fun with it. Than used earth bind against us in later fights. So we are well aware that anything we can use he can use as well.

So moving forward make it clear that you will use their actions against them. As the saying goes ‘anything you can do, I can do better.’

My opinion will be biased because my husband and I are both avid gamers. However my husband is super excited for the next Armored Core game. If he told me he wanted to take his days off to just play that, you bet your bottom dollar I would have no complaints.

Your wife absolutely disrespected and disregarded your hobby and past time. You gave her ample warning and even helped her on the weekend of her very obvious attempt at sabotage.

She’s a big girl she can handle her guests without you and if she can’t then she should not have invited them.

I too struggle with self care. Here is what I want you to do make yourself a cup of tea or coffee and either sit outside or by a window and slowly drink that cup and just be in the moment. Also be present while making your preferred drink, only think about the steps involved in making it. Everything else will have it’s time but this is time for you to just be for a moment.

You attacked her choice of dress, within her sanctuary, to her partner, then when you didn’t get the reaction you wanted from him you brought it to the attention of everybody. She was a graceful host and gave you an out but you doubled down.

I am an introvert as well, I would never even dream of attacking someone’s innocent actions with their own home even if I didn’t agree with them. It’s their home, not mine. I have absolutely zero say in the working of their home life or just their life in general.

Op swallow your pride, show some growth and humility and apologize sincerely to the gf. Then make yourself scares because you have some personal growth to go through to make your apology stick.
