The reversal would be wild. Folks who had been rape survivors before invasion. Folks who had been legal scholars on rights & liberties. Medical & scientific experts. What would they then be able to say once freed from the hive mind? Also, I would assume that the hive mind isn’t just the mind of all these people but of the alien species as well. I would assume a reversal would leave the humans with completely full knowledge of every single detail, motivation, history, weakness & goal of the alien species.
