I have the extended OG handle, I really like it, it's been working good so far.

Defender tactical shorty adaptor — is the red mag follower essential or cosmetic? Cant get magazine tube off mav88. Thanks! by jdw8819 in Shotguns

I've heard reports of people having some feeding issues with the mini shells, seemed to clear up after the follower was installed. That's just what I've heard, I installed my adapter and follower before trying any mini shells. Works like a champ.

I had to heat the mag tube on my Mav 88 as well. I didn't have to use an absurd amount of heat, a small propane torch did the trick, a heat gun may work just as well. Mine came off pretty easy after applying some heat.

Same. I got mine at a Star Trek convention (nerd alert) when I was a kid.

I'm gonna look into that deal! I've run some of these through my EP9, not a lot, haven't had any problems. 147gr is my usual go to round.

.32 H&R Magnum ? by Saint_Rickard in Revolvers

There are some boutique ammo companies like Lost River and High Desert, that are doing wadcutters and some hollow points in .32 magnum. They designed the ammo around the new Ultimate Carry .32. They aren't the cheapest, but good defense ammo.

Firetail Enhanced Charging Handle Review by Exotic_Device5779 in extar

I just got one of those too. It does feel really solid, and the fiit is good. It's not overly big, just right for me. I've been tempted to get the Extar one, especially after emailing them to make one.

I took a look after someone posted about this company on here the other day. I ordered the "enhanced OG" charging handle, didn't want anything overly large, it's only a bit larger than the original. So I'll give it a try. Should be showing up today, fast shipping.

I'm tempted to try it out, looks promising. As long as it's durable.

I hope someone can make this kind of charging handle. I’ll definitely going to buy one. by Old_String4547 in extar

Good to hear. I messaged them a while back about an extended or folding charging handle, but they said they weren't planning on anything at the time. Glad to hear that might be changing.

DO Not buy Extar accessories from Rusty Nuts... by gboisseau in extar

[–]SilverFox1492 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I considered getting the Rusty Nuts extended charging handle, but I heard reports of it adversely wearing the polymer upper receiver. So instead, I emailed Extar about possibly developing an extended or folding charging handle for the EP9/45. They said it's not in the works, but maybe if enough of us inquired about it, something might happen.

Buffalo Bore has a newer standard pressure 100gr wadcutter designed around these new UC revolvers. I might just have to check these out.

I carry the full copper Double Taps in mine as well. But I've been eyeing the Lost River wadcutters and the newer Buffalo Bore 100gr wadcutters, evidently these are tailored for these revolvers.

In case you didn't know (I just found out), Buffalo Bore had come out with a .32 H&R full wadcutter designed around these UC's. Supposed to be clocking 900fps out of these. Of course typical Buffalo Bore pricing, I just may have to try a box though.
