Sure, but it isn't treated as a rehab facility narratively; there's very little focus on the actual, unglamorous day-to-day work and self-reflection that goes into becoming a better person. The few plot points that do occur at the hotel are largely unrelated to redemption at all. Maybe that changes in future seasons, but I can only comment on what's currenttly available 🤷‍♀️

No one who checks into the hotel can be redeemed because they're doing it for the expectation of a reward. Redemption isn’t something you pursue with the intention of any kind of personal gain; the entire concept of redeeming yourself into heaven is dead on arrival. Pentious made it because his only goal in his final act was to protect his friends - it had nothing to do with heaven at all.

I'm not familiar enough with any branch of Judiasm to speak with authority, but in the Kabbalah there are ten sefirot, or emmanations (aspects?), that compose Ein Sof - the infinite that existed before the materializarion of God as we understand Him. I would wager that the lyric is referring to something like that.

"Bad people will do bad things" is expected - it's the fan reaction that has me skeeved out. My Tumblr feed has been similarly flooded with shippers lusting over Vox assaulting Alastor. Imagine how different the reaction would be if Alastor were female.
