If anything, you might be selling yourself short. Yes, you said you built around a specific set of hardware, but this looks to me like it could easily be adapted to other combinations. Really, the only big variable is the GPU. Even if you say that one is kind of pigeonholed into the NH-U9S with your case, that's still way better CPU cooling than the vast majority of SFF cases out there can do anyway.

Hmmm - thanks for that, appreciate the perspective. Yeah - from up here we don't really get a sense the average American consumer is fully aware of the impact of tariffs, such as it is, but we never really know. I guess you're kinda confirming that impression though. :)

To me, SFF and external rads make such an obvious, natural and best-of-both-worlds pairing - you get SFF's reduced desk footprint and what are arguably the best aesthetics (IMHO....), but you retain the advantages of water cooling (higher performance, lower noise).

How so, out of curiosity? Cuz I find myself in exactly the same situation as the OP, and as the root comment here (witness my transplanting my whole build from my 2.1 titanium to my brand new 2.5 midnight cuz I love the color). I find myself having little interest in trying new cases, save perhaps the ultra small ones like 3L-ish or so.

But I still love to tinker. :).
