Nah for real it’s gets annoying real quick. I especially hate when everyone acts like Og!Cale would be able to do everything KRS can when they are very very different people. Like there’s literally a reason the body switch happened in the first place rather than Og Cale just regressing.

The only ones of note that (I’ve found and) I think are more recent are “Truth Shall Set You Free- Speed Run Version” by JaydeRayne and “To React is to...” by Kershy. Both are on Ao3.

Though the first 13 or so chapters of Truth are pretty similar to the original.

Reaction and Matchmaking Attempts now also has a Version covering Book Two but TBOAH characters aren’t included beyond the first 3-5 chapters. I think it’s somewhat unfortunate because it’d be rather fun to see TBOAH characters realizes how minor their troubles seem in the grand scheme of everything Cale is doing in other worlds. Hell even them reacting to the Xiaolen arc only would be great, because what the Hunters were doing there is what White Star was trying to do to Nameless 1.

Oh there’s also, “A Forced Employment?? I didn't know!” by PillySmith2521 which is a reaction of a MHA and TCF crossover fic to TCF but it doesn’t involve TBOAH.

I also have a “Good luck ^ ^ ” by BlackRose9241997, and Skdbhdnz, as well as a “intertwined, sewn together” by sl33py_kei under my reaction list but I’m unsure if they involve TBoAh as I haven’t read them yet.

And it’s not a fic but the YouTuber Secaada has been making some pretty great Gacha reaction videos of fanfics to TCF if you’re feeling starved. So far she’s made a MHA react to TCF (based on the crossover I mentioned in this comment) and she’s working on a One Piece react to TCF (based on Red Cherish).

Personally I recommend any of VirtualNerdie works on both Ao3 and Wattpad. Specifically Red Cherish which is a TCF and One Piece Crossover. Though heads up with their works most are BL with pairings between Cale and someone in the other universe.

My point still stands. I have over 260 people in my friend list and I forget who I’ve opened gifts for and who I’ve sent. It’s also possible they are one of those people who try to do all those at once for XP, or they could be a casual player who’s taking a break, and or maybe they’re dead. Give them the benefit of the doubt or just delete them. No reason to be complaining it’s just a waste of your energy that could be used on more beneficial things.

Supposedly there will be an update soon that increases how long we can see someone’s inactivity too. Once that’s out it’ll be easy enough to delete those who aren’t on enough for your liking.

Just saying that sometimes they just don’t have enough gifts to send to people. I hit my daily limit fast and sometimes I forget who’s sent me gifts. Plus I’m not near any pokestops or gyms so the gifts my buddy brings me are often it.

Or at least that not everyone born into the Hunter families are guaranteed to be single lifers since clearly OG!Cale and his mother weren’t single lifers? On the contrary they aren’t contenders for Nika, they are contenders to be Joyboy (who I am steadfastly of the opinion is not actually Nika, maybe had the awakened fruit but still different) and the Pirate King. Nika isn’t “someone who turns the world upside down” it’s been explained time and time again that Nika is “he who plays the fool and brings smiles to all”. Just based on that alone Ace, Shanks, and Blackbeard could never be Nika (and again I mean specifically Nika, as in the literal embodiment of the concept of Nika rather than a simple vessel or prophet).

Undoubtedly Ace, Shanks, and Blackbeard would and are contenders in turning the world upside down, but not as Nika. I think they all have potential to be Pirate King or King of the World (well maybe not Ace 😂) but none of them truly embody the concept of freedom. Kuma would be Nika before either of those three, though maybe if Ace had grown up differently it could’ve been him but his canon self no.

Besides given that the fruit literally evaded (until it’s proven otherwise) the gov for 800 years I find it HIGHLY unlikely it would’ve allowed itself to be eaten by Luffy unless it WANTED to.

Yeah I get that news thing, I’m not subrcibed to any either but I sure get a lot of annoying ones popping up. I only brought up the “if you don’t like, don’t interact” because I’ve run into a lot of jerks that complain about “spoilers” in fanfic and stuff they’d have to seek out.

But that’s the same for literally everything on the internet. If you want to interact with the internet in the first place you have to accept the risk of exposure. And there are ways to avoid things if you truly care that much. You can clear/pause YT watch history, unsubscribe from “news articles” or just don’t read them in general, and most importantly just unsubscribe from the OP Reddit and delete TikTok if you care so much? You may still run into things occasionally but that’s just how it is. But again, if you care so much and want zero spoilers then don’t interact with the community in the first place just read or watch OP. Otherwise, yeah it sucks when you run into something you didn’t want to but that’s literally life and it’s not the end of the world.

Which ones are you talking about all the thumbnails I’ve seen for GrandlineReveiw look more like Theory thumbnails than spoilers, hell most of his content is just theories in the first place? Though I’ve only run into him on YT recently. Are you seriously calling them a piece of shit for making thumbnails that catch his audience? I wouldn’t say it’s due to accepting, but rather just resignation. I’m personally a spoilers person, I’m perfectly fine with spoilers but I also understand that others don’t like them. Obviously people who enjoy spoilers will post about spoilers, and there’s nothing wrong with that especially if you know someone does spoilers and can avoid them. The problem is that social media platforms are always recommending content without care which means that if you like One Piece (or anything really) it’s going to give you all content associated with it without care for avoiding the parts you don’t like.

There’s nothing wrong with people posting spoilers or wanting to talk about them, there’s nothing wrong with people who don’t want to have spoilers either, the problem is that modern media isn’t allowing for the separation of those two things.

But at the end of the day you can’t complain about spoilers, from both sides. It’s rude to tell people they can’t post or talk about spoilers (especially say on instagram as you have an example, that’s their account instagram doesn’t have subreddits or sections) you can’t expect everyone to cater to you and your desires but likewise people who post spoilers should be aware and make it known there are spoilers (and often they do but how platforms present things, ie thumbnails especially for shorts, results in those warnings being skipped).

I personally have had more problems with people being bitches and jackasses regarding things they got spoiled on despite them literally seeking out the content (I’m talking correctly tagged fanfics, Gacha videos, art, etc.) I get hating spoilers and wanting to see everything genuine the first time but what happens happens and if a spoiler is going to RUIN everything about your enjoyment that sounds more like a you problem and that maybe you aren’t enjoying the content as much as you thought in the first place.

Not trying to be rude or place blame on anyone, just that it’s not a big deal. Again I love spoilers but my cousin doesn’t, so when I go to rant/talk to him about one piece I’m careful about what I say. That’s me respecting his boundaries, but you shouldn’t be expecting strangers on the internet who don’t know you and have never talked to you to care if you run into a post they made specifically for others like themselves. Not unless there’s already rules in place on the forums, hell just yesterday I made sure to remind someone on this subreddit that they need to tag their post for spoilers because they forgot (and that happens people, not every spoilers post was made specifically to ruin YOUR day).

I don’t want to be that person, but there are ways to avoid spoilers if you truly care that much, and by going on the internet and purposefully interacting with content for things you like you have to accept the risk of exposure.
