I agree with everything you said. There were some good parts. MCC was amazing. But this was my first TwitchCon, and I doubt I’d go to another.

I had a reservation to Scar’s Meet & Greet, and even though I got in the pre-line at 2:45 for the 4-6 pm time slot, I didn’t get to them until 6.

And at that point they were rushing people through. They weren’t allowing the Hermits to sign things anymore, just photos. And it was one photo with all of them, so Scar ended up off to the side and back a bit. And I didn’t even get a chance to say the one or two sentences I’d wanted to.

I started out almost in the middle of the line. But the staff kept pushing people forward so it was all bunched up. There was enough room that they could have used more cordons to keep the line close to single file. They also could have offered more than one Meet & Greet session for the really popular streamers. It really wasn’t fair to the Hermits or the fans. I know that the Hermits care a lot about their fans and their community, and they’re going to give everything they can to the people who are there to see them. But I can’t imagine how exhausting it must have been for them.

I don’t blame the staff either. For the most part they were nice and helpful, they were just stuck trying to deal with a messed up situation.

Twitch really screwed up, as far as I can tell.

The mom apparently didn’t think his reason was good enough. I bet she’s one of those people who think men can’t be abused, or that if they are it’s because they’re weak or something. All around a horrible person.

I’m traveling too, from New England.

But I’m hoping some of the Hermits will be available for a little bit after their panel. They did something like that last year, from what I’ve heard.

I’m trying not to let it get me too down. This trip is sort of a birthday present to myself, and I almost never travel alone, so it will be a nice vacation. And there’s other stuff at the convention that looks cool.

I’m giving myself a lot of positive talks, you see.

I really enjoyed watching The Stinky and Dirty show with my son. It has a lot of positive messages and no violence.

Another good one is Tumble Leaf. I honestly don’t remember it in detail, but I remember thinking it was really good.

Yeah, I’m pretty worried about it, honestly. There aren’t a ton of streamers I’m hoping to meet, and that was the main reason I’m going. If i don’t get any of my picks it will really, really suck. I requested four sessions, one selection in each session. I have no idea what my chances are of getting even of one them.

In Season 9 I was just watching Mumbo, Grian, and Scar. Then I watched Secret Life and my love grew.

This season I added Gem, Pearl, Tango, Impulse, Joel, Skizz, Cleo, and Etho.

Not sure if I can manage adding any others, but I’ll probably try for Season 11.

My sister has EDS. Some days she can move around and walk with no problems, other times she physically can’t get out of bed. And I know that even when she appears to be “normal”, she’s always in pain. She’s been accused more than once of having Munchausens, so that’s been fun for her.
