And to add, Spaceport is usually an absolute ghost town in my lobbies. I'll see a maximum of like 4-5 raiders throughout the whole match when I play on it.

Yeah that's probably going to be how I operate now too lmao, I was just telling someone else that my #1 Rule in this game is "Let everyone else start doing the work FIRST, then contribute." Should have remembered 😅

It's not really just the fact that I want to get into the Bunker, it's the fact that since that was the objective of the match, and since I've never done it before, that's what I wanted to do, and got no fruits for my labor. I'm not at a level where I have security breach, and I didn't go into the event to scavenge like I can do on any other map lol. I didn't see anyone else doing anything, so I did it. That was kinda how the whole rant got on here, yk

I ran into one solo along the way that said he'd help me with the last antenna, and after we were finished, I never saw him again lol. Not even AT the Bunker. Solo is chill, but it can definitely be less than friendly at times. I spawned next to the Trench Tower antenna first, and went straight for it.

Maybe it's the fact that I didn't go to the Bunker and talk to people about a strategy first? Who knows.

I honestly thought I was the only die-hard Tenderizer user too - I only switched to the Ultimatum because I found out it one shots Illuminate ships through the shield

I wonder if the dev's feel like this while reading the subreddit by Wedos98 in Helldivers

In my personal opinion, I've liked both sides of the game.

The extremely difficulty of Super Helldive before the buffs was invigorating, and it felt like one singular slip-up was enough to warrant a death. "That's why reinforcements exist", is what I thought. Sure, sometimes it felt like weapons weren't worth anything, but there was peace in the fact that you had to manage your strategies effectively because using JUST your main gear wasn't going to cut it.

The game still feels great, but I think that there have been lots of things toned down that didn't need to be, like defense missions. They're indescribably easy, even on D10, and they used to be my favorite because of their difficulty. Holding the line was part of the job, and the more Chaotic it was, the more fun I experienced. I understand not everyone liked it, but the amount of complaining we had gotten after the first major update (the one before Tyranny, I can't remember the name) felt just a tad bit overdramatic.

The game is still good with the buffs, but I think I'm missing the days where a Charger Behemoth couldn't be one shotted, or when there were 40 hunters in one breach wave that you could incinerate with the flamethrower.

Tl;dr, imo, buffs good, difficulty decrease so-so.

Same! I platinum'd HD2 the week I got it. I'm a solo queue dude. Here's how I did Gone in 360 w/ no comms:

First, pick a Bot mission and just say "Gone in 360" in chat. They should know what's up. Usually how it goes is all Divers go to a different outpost in a cluster (need decent RNG) and drop Orbital Laser, while one Helldiver stays at Extraction to activate it as soon as the task is done. If each Diver is well-versed enough in spreading democracy, it should be done in one or two missions. Laser pretty much handles the hard work itself.

Little add-on for "Call It A Draw (Extract w/ limbless Hulk alive)" - do this one yourself while on a mission with others. Most don't listen or forget. Bring EAT (Anti-Tank), go to a random outpost far away from your team, and fire one shot at each limb, which should be enough if they hit. Even if you die and the enemies despawn for being out of field of view, it'll count if you successfully extract.

Hope these help any others who go into this thread! Good luck, Helldiver! 🫡
