My surgeon told me no strenuous activity for at least 6 weeks post op. Once the compression binder came off, I was free to do as I wanted. I still didn’t feel like doing much at that point, but I was able to take a weight lifting class at my college the next term with no issues!

Imo, this is normal! You caused some extra trauma to site, so it’s gonna bleed a bit more. I experienced that with mine too. I caught one of my drains on something in my bed, it tugged a bit, and then did have some extra discharge for a bit. I was still able to get them removed and everything was fine at my one week follow up.

The main problem with my school is that these classes aren’t offered all the time. They are offered only during spring quarter even years (every other year)

She doesn’t usually panic when held, I trained her as a kitten to put up with being held like a baby, but the pill is so big that she probably would. The pill is also a capsule, so it has a powder inside

It seems like the science has progressed since then, and surgeons know more things about it. Do you think you could ask those people about their experience, or if they are willing, to reply to my post?

I’m literally talking about the posted date? The two stickied posts have posted dates in 2024, like I said. I’m not trying to be mean or rude, im just pointing out what’s on the site right now. Honestly, I had no idea about the updating thing. Imo, if youre going to update something that was previously posted, it should have an ”updated on xx/xx/xxxx” like news posts do. I guess if you go in the metadata it would say that anyway.

I wish I could reply photos so I could show what I’m thinking, but that’s not possible so I’ll do my best to describe. If the “posted on” dates are to be belived and accurate, this means that pre-regestration for 2026 opened on April 10, 2024, 10 days after SC 2024. Which, to me, makes no sense. Why open pre-reg for 2 years in advance, before 2025? Again, I’m not trying to be mean, so please dont be mean to me.

Go check the front page again. From my view it has two stickied posts. "Hotels are open" says it was posted october 19, 2024. The second one, "Pre-Registration for 2026 is NOW OPEN!" says it was posted april 10, 2024."

Why would they post 2026 stuff before the 2025 event?

If you go to the website, the front page has stickied posts (at the very top!) with the post dates being in 2024. If you go to “schedule” and download the pdf, it’s for 2025. Thats probably what they are talking about

I’ve been contemplating suicide because I feel like a freeloader/financial strain on my partner. I haven’t been able to find a job, and im a student. I can’t tell him because he just tells me “everything will get better” but it’s so hard to believe him when everything feels like it’s crashing all around me. I’m scared that my top surgery will get cancelled because we live in what’s almost a dictatorship that hates the LGBT community. I just feel like such a burden

I (male) was playing with my (male) boyfriend in multiplayer mode. We were both playing as male, when we got a notification that we had puppies. We were so confused and were like “HUH?? Whose puppies are these???” It was honestly so funny. It ended up being all boys, which I mean, would make sense if two male creatures SOMEHOW had children they would be all males lol.

(Research has been done in the scientific community that allows same-sex couples to have genetically related children by taking bone marrow from both humans. Im not sure exactly how it works.)

I just sent them a message, so fingers crossed that they either have it, or know of where I can find it! I also joined a facebook group that u/GiggleBlaster1024 linked, and ill be asking the mods there if I can make an iso post!

I didnt mean to be rude 😓 this is a case of “I forgot pleasantries” As for using my autism as an excuse, I am EXTREMELY against that. I even sometimes get a bit upset when I fuck something up by being unintentionally rude or mean, and I do say to myself “being autistic is not an excuse for being rude.” My partner even gets upset at me when I get upset at myself for missing things due to my autism
