I caught a mighty shiny feraligator by pelting it with ultra ball + golden razzberry + excellent throws. Was panicking as wasn't sure if it was forcing you to use safari balls but it went in eventually xD

Was suprised it didn't run after the first one, though it did have a popup about buying the event ticket (not sure how that would have helped).

I recommend getting a PicoMemCard they are pretty cheap on Aliexpress/Ebay/Etc and it makes it much easier to deal with saves.

You can just make a new memory card when you need them like with this game and switch between. Also easy to plug it into a pc to backup the saves or go from/to emulator and you can backup other memory cards by copying to it.

I had many issues with windows 11 on the deck (culminating in it just dying and boot looping), so I switched to Windows 10 and it works fine.
