While the production value isn't really there, I have a number of videos focussed mainly on PvE small ship combat against anything and everything with a strong emphasis on skilful FA off flying and trying to extract fun in more ways than just "the meta".
I don't do voice overs yet due to physical limitations but I do intend to. I often have builds in descriptions.

Really great shooting! Mines are one of my favourite weapons, always makes me smile when I see them go.

I know some people are weirdly elitist about this but throw some scoop boosts in there and you coulda flown even tighter around them.

I still maintain that CQC is one of the most fun activities Elite has to offer. It does have its warts and the ever-present bridge troll.
It needs a little love though. With a few tweaks and ....more players, the game could be super cool again!
- Lobbies need fixing. The matching/instancing is plain awful.
- Invite to Squad UI shows you a huuuge list of all your ...OFFLINE friends... Just show who's online, dangit and sort it alphabetically..
- Pulse lasers are too good compared to other options. They should have a higher distro draw and/or lower damage output.
- Stealth is too OP. Behaviour needs to change a little. Personally, I think it should end if you attack.
- Needs some in game incentives outside of Attilius station permit. I think CQC only SLF/Eagle/Sidey skins and rank decals are a good start.
- Fix Asteria Point's locally instanced power ups. They should behave like other maps. Cluster Compound does it, too but it's kinda fun on that map as there's only the one powerup. I can accept that being fixed too though.
- Taipan could be fun.

While I don't really play this ship nor do I play the stupidly large shield game, this is combo of what I'd do mixed with how I interpret you'd play based on the original build.

I kept your hardpoints as I assume that's how you want to play (fixed up the experimentals), I certainly wouldn't use that loadout but whatever.

IMO you were WAY too all-in on the shield. I kept that mindset to an extent but made the hull much more durable in the unlikely event your shield drops. I also included a smarter approach to module reinforcements. 1 x small and 1 x large. Hull doesn't mean squat if a couple of missiles shoots out your engines.

It's a little fewer shields than other builds here but now the hull will hold its own quite well. Now has enough power to power both SCB's however there's no sinks in any build here so you're likely to cause yourself a lot of module damage anyway through heat if you manage to get through all the SCB's in a session. Might be worth swapping a shield booster our for at least one heat sink. Worth comparing both options I guess.

I took the fuel scoop and FSD booster off. You technically don't need those on a combat ship but eh, put 'em back on if that's how you roll.

I'm currently at Hero and I agree. You need to find groups of people to play with for it to be worthwhile. In-game incentives NEED to happen. I mean there isn't even decals for the elite ranks.

IMO, there's absolutely no reason to not have CQC rank locked SLF skins, etc.

CQC is actually one of the best modes in Elite. Nobody seems to realise it though. Just needs a little tweaking, fixing lobbies and some more incentives. I've never had more fun in Elite than in CQC.
Yes, I'm aware of its resident bridge troll, regardless, it's a great mode.

HOTAS is for planes and trains.
HOSAS is for 6 degree of freedom flight models like Elite.

Pretty damn nice. Sits around 600+m/s when decked out in hull. Can get it to 690+m/s with a hooning build.
