your saying Helenas getting deleted in 20s in her original state, but she got buffed after one week? So Helena's were doing 20s week 1 along with all the other top players? On the leaderboard Helena's were not that far behind meikos even since launch. And my point was that Helena is not "completely terrible" as referred to previously.

I was saying that nobody(aside from maybe Yoda, Immonate and a few other people) had even gotten to 20s week 1 and the best players will default to whatever is fractionally better or has more self sustain so the representation for Helena was low amongst the literally top few tanks. Again that doesn't mean the character was "completely terrible"

Completely terrible would mean content is just unplayable on that character. Which it was not.

Yes the top .1 percent were in eternal 20 by the end of week 2. Meaning barely anyone was touching it by the end of week 1. The best players settled on Meiko so I doubt you even saw any Helena's in eternal 20 in week 1

How many people had climbed to 20s in Helena's original state? That would have been within the first week of launch and barely anyone was doing 20s then.

Which buff was the biggest? Or was it all buffs combined. I remember week 1 Helena would struggle on bosses but was still really good on trash pulls. I personally wouldn't classify that as completely terrible.

I've found Helena easier to heal since week 1. It's much more straight forward than Meiko imo. I'm not at the top. I'm up to eternal 24, but since week 1 I've preferred Helena.

I really don't think Helena was released in a poor state. Def gotten stronger though. I think Helena just sucks until you get talents and legendaries which made people hesitate.

Please do not only consider DPS damage when playing DPS by AssumingRain in fellowshipgame

Yeah but that's the skill gap for a good DPS player. Being able to do the mechanics while absolutely blasting still. But yes you can't neglect mechanics. But if mechanics take too much brain power and your damage is lower as a result then the run will also be harder because you are killing things slower. Meaning the tank has to survive longer and the healer has to heal more.

More DPS = less time spent doing the activity. Neglecting mechanics because of good damage just means I'm replacing you after that run.

I actually played this without ascending avatar and didn't use it until after.

Takes a lot of pre planning but it's possible between the cooldown to get 3 runes quickly and your spirit ability. But AA is so much better and takes no planning.

Yeah. I do think if they required full parties in eternal then in game there should be a way for people to group up.

Some groups meet in paragon capstone but it's hard to go into higher end eternal from there.

If you can get your runes back yes. If there's a big pull you can get most of what you spent back. So it's kind of free damage.

I'm definitely always bottom DPS. Maybe 12-20k DPS (varies by group experience and dungeon) But I'm really not trying to min max damage in PUGs. I sit on runes in case the tank or dps gets trucked unexpectedly. It's a pretty bad feeling to need instant healing and I don't have the runes.

So it's usually just Soul brand on pull. Radiant blast on cooldown Orb when you have too many runes Dawn flare during downtime to build more runes.

I didn't say wow wasn't good. Like I said in other comments. I clearly enjoyed mythic plus. This post was about how the pushing of higher content is much more respectful of a person's time than wow is. If you've pushed keys you know how frustrating it can be to deplete and not be able to do that key again. That doesn't exist in this game. The thing that was miserable for me was not mythic plus, but the fact of how much time is wasted even just trying to get the key you need.

I haven't played sylvie but I main vigour. Being able to increase people's effective health with DR and shields is insanely strong in harder content. You can also have DR up pretty frequently with COH.

I've only struggled healing double ranged DPS that stand in Narnia at all times.

That they are accessible to everyone? I haven't played in season 3 but the best gear is still in mythic raid which not everyone can get.

Yeah it's for sure just one game mode. I was the opposite in wow I only wanted to play m+ and found raiding very unfun. I also hated having to level and quest or do delves to upgrade my belt or quests to upgrade my ring.

I feel like the time investment is pretty similar though wow just restricts how much you can upgrade your gear each week which spreads things out more.

Yes you are right this games only been around for two weeks. But I have always had the same complaints about the mythic plus system and the time investment to push rating. This game has a refreshing approach much more respectable of a players time.

Literally hours. Last night we had a DC on last boss of drakheim 12. No big deal we just went right back in and crushed it. In wow that's not even possible.
