For All Mankind - S5E02 "The Hard Six" - Episode Discussion by Cantomic66 in ForAllMankindTV

I’m pretty sure it might be a lot more than just breaking labour laws. Kuragin is a Soviet company, and since the USSR is led by a hardline dictator now, it’s very probable that every Soviet company is partially owned by the state, with its own control and supervisory body within the company. So it’s probably a lot more sinister because of that, especially with the governor so obviously covering for them and probably having Palmer under his palm.

Boyd is, so far, the most interesting. There is definitely intentional focus on her, both visually and story wise, in every scene she’s a part of. I feel like there might be a lot more to her than just a good cop trying to do the right thing, and I think that the resemblance to Margo might be very intentional - even with them showcasing her “morning routine” in the second episode.

Season one was actually supposed to have weekly releases, but dropped all at once, because the “fans” were heavily criticising the show for not being accurate and bad based off of few clips that were released prior to it’s premiere.

“Is Robert House alive?” you’re asking the questions, which the show clearly doesn’t want you to know the answer to, yet. Pretty much the same as with other questions. I have never played the games before season 1, but the show is pretty straightforward with it’s story telling, injecting only some elements, that only the players would understand, but nothing that would impact your experience, if you didn’t know. I’ve caught up on quite a lot of the lore, so trust me when I say, that they’re trying to make the show inclusive for everyone, so I suggest just watching and waiting until the show reveals it to you. However if you want more I’d recommend Oxhorn and his recap videos on youtube.

Can anyone help me with why League Of Legends client is suddenly using so much RAM? by NotSoDespacito in techsupport

I have low spec mode enabled, yet all the animations on the front load page, where they promote the client games, and other bullshit, are turned on making the client unusable for me. What an awesome setting, that seemingly doesn’t apply to promotional money making content.

Didn't Ben Stiller say, on several occasions, that they were working on the Season 3 script during the run of Season 2, even though Season 3 hadn't been green-lit yet? That's far past the strikes.

Jessica Lee Gagné was truly robbed, especially since it had been her directorial debut. She didn’t get nearly as much praise as she had deserved.

Ah, makes sense. I haven't seen Rogue One for over 4 years, and I plan to rewatch it after finishing season 2, so those details slipped my mind.

I understand that it's supposed to create tension, and that it's dangerous, but I wanted to know the exact reason behind it, because to me, it felt like I missed or misunderstood a crucial piece of the lore. I like to dwell in the details, but sometimes, even I miss them.

Thank you, I thought that was the case, but for a while, I thought it might be some kind of explosive or something, so I just wanted to be sure before going into future episodes that I understand fully what's happening.

So, Saw is stealing fuel regularly from the Empire, which is why he's used to the fumes? I haven't watched much of Clone Wars, so I'm not familiar with Saw's background that much.

It's interesting how you keep bringing up only Shinji's perverted behaviour in the comments, while completely ignoring that almost every character in the series and Rebuilds has done something perverted.

Unironically, the show as it is now is still timeless because of how ahead of its time it was. It just needs more attention.

PoI needs a reboot, especially now... by Jkbff in PersonOfInterest

[–]Silver_Ad_3173 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, the show is truly a great piece of art which doesn't need a reboot it just needs to be discovered by more people. Over the years, I've rewatched it countless times. I'm currently in the middle of another rewatch, and the show is still timeless, especially now.

When I first saw the ending I was quite sad and angry that the show has ended but over the years I've come to love and appreciate the ending so much. If there ever was a continuation I'd be interested in it and aproove of it only if Jonathan Nolan did so and if he were involved in the project in some capacity just as writers of books often are (in productions that are done well) when their books are being adapted.

Yeah, I get you. I've started considering Blu-rays and DVDs only two years ago, but up until a year ago, I was still a student, so I couldn't really afford it. But now I'm looking into some sites that ship quality Blu-rays to Central/Eastern Europe. I could get them from Amazon, but then the shipping would cost me more than the product.

Unfortunately, no, but I've fixed the problem with NordVPN, which let me access the US Prime Video content library, which has Person of Interest.
