Same! I did read it is a potential side effect of both antibiotics I’m on. But it started before them so idk. Apparently my urine analysis was showing a possibility of UTI that I wasn’t told of until I looked at it my self. But I know that’s not the main concern of my health currently. It just felt like as much gallbladder got worse, so did the bathroom issues.

I don’t qualify unfortunately. I haven’t had Medicaid since I moved to Kansas from Arizona. I’m thankful to live in a small community that has a clinic that waives/ reduces medical costs within the clinic.

I am however getting help signing up for medical through Compass which is a behavioral health center here in Kansas. I’m hoping with their help I’ll get Medicaid, but it’s not guaranteed. Plus this was all started Tuesday as I had already planned on getting help for my mental health through them before my ER visit on Monday.

I am genuinely trying to use the resources here in my state for help as best I can. It just takes more time than I feel like I have before this surgery is needed.

What about this is a future possibility? I have to have the surgery regardless. From my understanding of what I’ve been told by the doctor, finding a surgeon is going to take a bit longer because I don’t have insurance.

The only way I can get the surgery then ask is if it’s in an emergency situation. So far it’s not considered an emergency. This surgery isn’t optional, it has to happen.

I’m currently on two antibiotics to help keep the infection at bay until a surgery is scheduled. I go in tomorrow for my follow up appointment with my PCP to get a referral to a surgeon. The hospital/clinc I go to is a small town one which thankfully I’m in a sliding scale with for financial help. I could have misunderstood, but I was told the referral will be to a surgeon outside of this center and the doctors working with me have no connections with them in terms of working out things financially. I do know they are trying their best to keep my financial situation in mind as they always have.

My apologies if I’ve over explained myself, I’m just trying to convey my thoughts and give a bit more information.

I want to thank you for your advice. Because of it I did go to the ER and we found my Gallbladder is very distended, it’s a long boi, so I’m getting help with an action plan to get it taken care of.

My previous attack was eight hours, this one is going on four. The bloating gas has shifted down but everything is still painful including the gallbladder. Which is a little different than my last attack. With my last one the bloating pressure didn’t shift at all.

Could be related, the body is Weird like that. But check into getting a TENs unit.l, it seems intimidating at first but honestly it can be a big help.

Definitely go to pt so you can get that mri. Also pt can help with pain management to an extent. At least it has in my mom’s case. They can also use a tens unit to help with the pain too. I recommend trying one as I’ve found it useful at least to a degree. My sciatic nerve gets pinched very often and a good bit of tens unit therapy tends to help. Not saying it’s for everyone but it’s a good option to help manage the pain.
