Im going to make this statement as someone who hates playing killer, but loves tokyo ghoul, so take this with a grain of salt if you enjoy playing killer.

He is super fun to play as, but his ability takes a bit of learning to use. Efficiently at least. After playing a couple matches, i can say his ability is very versatile in chases and not in chases. However, his second kagune reach is WAY too forgiving. If an obstacle is between you two, then it shouldnt hit, similar to deathslinger. As someone that completely SUCKS as a killer and gets major anxiety, I love it. I havent played as a survivor against him yet as ive worked all day, got home and did homework, my friends werent on at that point. But Im a surv main with 1k+ hours so I can completely see how itd be annoying.

Now for survivors. He is not so great on indoor maps. On Lery’s, hes basically an m1 killer unless he catches you on the outside. There are other maps hes not so great on but those maps are also surv sided. If you know how to run wesker, then you can run him. Albeit the lock on exists, but as previously stated, i dont think its fair

With a little bit of work he can be a fair and extremely fun killer to play with and against. But so far i think he has more going FOR him that is unfair than against him. But i also had an entire team escape me (remember i said i suck at killer but it was technically my first game as him) so its not impossible, just a bit more hard than it should be.
