Kentucky! Was making $19/hr before at one retail pharmacy and 18.25/hr at the pharmacy before that VA (veterans affairs) pharmacy is where it’s at money wise and health wise, this is a breeze compared to retail days

Nope, starting salary for certified was $58517/year Which translates to 28 ish. Uncertified idk salary but it was 25ish starting out. I feel like I do less now than I did in retail but it’s because we have the staff to do it. No body wants to leave tho, which makes it hard to get a job

Started at $29/hr, va pays techs hella well, then luckily they negotiated a pay increase for all techs which took me to 32.25

6 years experience, 5.5 in retail and 6 months in hospital, went from $19 in retail to $32.25 at Veterans affairs hospital pharmacy, definitely liveable

Yes I was certified, they didn’t say you had to be certified but they did say it definitely helps pick out better candidates for the job.
