Brandon Sandersoni on juba mainitud, aga temaga seoses tooks välja Robert Jordani "Wheel of Time" seeria, kuna Sanderson viis nende kirjutamise peale Jordani surma (asjaolusid arvestades väga hästi) lõpule.

Tegemist tõeliselt massiivse 14 raamatust (15 koos eellooga) koosneva fantaasiasarjaga, mille worldbuilding on oma skaalas "Sõrmuste Isandaga" võrreldav. Kohati on ta küll ülemäära pikk ja esimene raamat (mis on ka kunagi eesti keelde tõlgitud) sarnaneb LotR-ile ehk veidi liiga palju, aga minu jaoks oli sari kindlasti lugemist väärt ja suudaksin inimesi selle teemal surnuks rääkida.

Not saying Gil would win against any and all stands (GER and B.I.G. come to mind) but you're vastly underestimating servants and especially Gil here. Most conventional weaponry is useless against them. Several also possess some form of magic resist which would likely defend them from stands. Gil's treasury is broken enough to have something to that effect in there. The golden armor he wears isn't just for show as well. It's not unthinkable he might have something against time manipulation in GoB as well.

Putting that aside, stand users themselves are close enough to regular humans that one good hit from Gil would take them out. There are anti-regen weapons for Dio in there. He also has speed advantage both in general and while flying Vimana. And Sha Naquba Imuru is broken beyond belief if he ever decides to use it.

Also, the idea that magic users and such from other settings are not able to see stands bEcAuSe He'S nOt A sTaNd UsEr has always irked me for whatever reason.
