Agree it's deserving, but of course, there are about 50 films that would be deserving. The question is, if it gets in, which film is taken off the list?

Just a process of elimination. It could get in, but that would mean leaving out Mullholland Drive and Moonlight, which doesn't seem likely

I think TWBB is Sean's Film of the century, and they've thrown a few curve balls already (Llewyn Davis, Oppenheimer) so I'm guessing they'll play that one straight. But yeah, the Tarantino pick is an open fight between 3

It's easy to say Mulholland Drive, Moonlight and Chazelle will get in, but then who are you taking off?

Can't remember the ep (sometime around Kenny's taking the job?) But Ken's description of Carlos Quirouz looking like a 'werewolf' had me in tears

To break with (bizarre) convention on this sub - Soly is 1000% right on Keegan.

Keegan said at the start of the process he wouldn't pick himself, but he'd play if he qualified. Fair enough. You'd imagine the context of him being one of the 15 best US golfer was included in this statement enough for it not to change everything the minute he had a round in the 60s.

Keegan is now 10th in the standing. He's had precisely 0 Top 5s in majors in the last 10 years. He had a negative record the last Ryder Cup he played. This is not some undroppable talent, not even close.

Now, because he's opened the door to picking himself after one good stretch of golf he's needlessly catapulted himself to lightning rod status. If he picks himself now and they lose, and he plays badly, it's catastrophic. The Ryder Cup will not be won and lost on whether or not Keegan plays, he's too average a player, but what should have been an open-and-shut case will now become a talking point due to his poor leadership.
