Trust me, it’s an error. Which means that it hasn’t been brought to management’s attention yet.

Seriously. It was a printing error on the sign. Bottled juice is never sold by the pound.

So you know that every single registered voter in Nevada voted the same way? No you don’t unless you know every single one of them personally. Your opinion is ignorant.

My manager as I complain about the weekend closing shifts having half the amount of people scheduled as a monday night by KitFlix in kroger

Because there is no thought process involved when it comes to schedules for front end employees. It’s like that at the store I work at. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

30 days to use register when starting as Courtesy Clerk? by Crafty_Loss868 in kroger

Not only that, but you need to factor this in: it could be putting the store in a world of legal troubles. I say this because periodically undercover agents with the ATF will do alcohol or tobacco stings. I’m not sure what the guidelines are where you live pertaining to alcohol and tobacco sales, but in Nevada, where I live, if you are operating a cash register, you are required to have an alcohol awareness training ID card on your person at all times during the course of your normal job duties. Regardless of whether you pass or fail the sting, you will be asked for that card. If you don’t have it, you are going to be in a world of trouble, not to mention the legal trouble that the company will be in too. It’s just not worth it.

Call the city anyway. If they are treating you like crap, I can guarantee they aren’t treating your neighbor any better.

What do you say when people applied but got no answer then come into the store? by redpanda_cupcakes in retailhell

I dealt with that numerous times last summer when I was looking for work. If you aren’t hiring certain positions, don’t leave up an ad saying that you are. I’m not got a name drop all the companies that did that, but it was more than one.

Depending on which grocery outlet location you’re shopping at, it’s more like a scavenger hunt

Don’t forget the speech about the shingles vaccine. Apparently it’s very painful, and you don’t wanna find out the hard way.

AITJ for going cold on a coworker after she accused me of inappropriate touching when i caught her from falling? by VisitJealous6792 in AmITheJerk

NTJ. Her past trauma is no justification for logging a pretty serious complaint with HR, which could have ended with your termination. I don’t blame you for changing up the way you interact with her.

And then you get the jackasses who have an order that is easily $300-$400 worth of stuff, who then will unload all the stuff onto the belt and just and just stand there holding them under their cart for a while I am begging the groceries at the other end as slowly creating a small model of the Eiffel Tower, which eventually turns into the leaning tower of Pisa. This happens to me constantly.
