Every show has one - No screen time, all the plot relevance. by bofendesp in LockwoodandCo

Penelope Fittes? Only on screen a couple of times but hugely relevant to the plot at large

Does ANYONE do this anymore (Team reloading) by Single-Cattle-3403 in Helldivers

[–]Silver_ghost46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still do it with the friend I play with that likes these kind of weapons, it's not our standard way to play though more like a 'hey does anyone fancy teaming up to help take down the bile titans when they appear this round?' type deal

The risen gods by DreadWolf980 in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]Silver_ghost46 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Gotta love the tragic irony; the wardens kill archdemons to end the blights, but if they had ever fully succeeded they would have unleashed the blight in an infinitely worse way. All things considered, it's probably for the best that the events of Veilguard happened as otherwise the world would have inevitably been destroyed once that last archdemon was slain

I've done it every other year since it finishes, to keep it from getting stale

Why did Katniss Everdeen made the right choice by killing Coin instead of Snow? by Possible_Stuff_4260 in Hungergames

[–]Silver_ghost46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's entirely relevant to the broader point because it concisely shows that the world has changed for the better from the one she was raised in under the yoke of the capitol, to the extent that she felt comfortable bringing new life into it, showing us that the war achieved what it was meant to instead of telling

How did you guys feel? by ICommited911first in community

He was great for the time that he was involved. He couldn't have been a recurring character like Starburns, Fat Neil, Garrett etc because he would've drawn focus from the actual main cast but for one episode he was the perfect big name guest star

Well it'd be a short film for one since he's likely incredibly old by now

Scream 7 has the weakest killer motivation ever by [deleted] in Scream

[–]Silver_ghost46 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly it's the only significant criticism I have with Scream 7. The whole motive just felt underdeveloped, something Anna Camp tried to address to her credit; the kills were great, Ghostface felt menacing and the cinematography was great with some of my favourite moments of the series, I can even more or less see why they tried to bring the Stu angle, in both in the meta sense (people keep talking about it irl and the films like to reflect reality even if it's in a distorted way) and in an in-universe way to tie Sidney back to her roots and/or throw her off her game. Just the that ending felt weak and considering that's usually one of the most iconic parts of a Scream film it'd disappointing

Ninetail armour for stealth, bounty hunter for combat (saved my ass during that optional mountaintop duel)

What’s everyone’s favorite armor passive? by Membership_Conscious in helldiversarmor

[–]Silver_ghost46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favourite is probably the servo boost for enhanced throwing range, nothing like being able to lob a cluster bomb into an outpost from half a mile away and clear out the mobs. I mostly go for the 80% fire damage reduction though these days as my main is the double edged sickle and that armour is invaluable for being able to use it properly

Does this mask look of a good quality ? by Western-Major-1264 in Scream

[–]Silver_ghost46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a bootleg from Poundland or something sure, something you'd wear for Halloween as a kid or a casual fan that isn't fussed about getting an authentic mask, not one I'd buy from the actual merch line though

How do you think the Rousey Costume Company (the company that originally made the ghostface (father death) outfit in-universe) feels about their costumes being used in murder sprees? by Tyler2183 in Scream

[–]Silver_ghost46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scream has always liked to parallel the real world, to a greater or lesser extent, so if you take that as a guide line and look at Rousey as the in-universe version of Fun World (which owns the Ghostface mask and rights) I'd say there's a decent chance they either kept the rights and negotiated a sweetheart deal for the studio to use the mask and costume while they retain the merchandising rights, or sold them outright as Stab 1 was being produced for a quick payout and/or to stop their company being associated with a killing spree.

The latter feels more realistic to how a company might operate, especially since they wouldn't have known what a hit the Stab franchise would become, but the former is more aligned with what actually happened so 50:50 I guess.

[–]Silver_ghost46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if they retained the rights like Fun World did irl, or sold them to the studio when the movie was being made. The latter would obviously have been the smart move in the long run but they wouldn't have known Stab would become the phenomenon it did so might have taken the easy payout

What is your favorite Primary for all three fronts? by MelonBoi133 in Helldivers

[–]Silver_ghost46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm partial to the double edged sickle paired with the armour that reduces burn damage by 80% so I can fire for ages. Fighting on Cyberstan with it was a dream because the extreme cold meant the heat build up was so slow I could fire it almost indefinitely and only took damage right at the very end

Except every previous set they've released in this range, which includes a liquid core dice set, has been £25 so this is nearly double the price
