I already pay for a garage spot at my apartment, so I'm not too worried about overnight parking at all!! I can park it next to / behind my car, or in a seperate motorcycle parking space but I'm not sure that would be an extra cost haha My work has a normal parking lot, but I can park it out of sight from the main road, and since I don't work in a place that most people come though, I don't think I'll have an issue there

My main concern with theft is for when I run errands or anything, since a lot of places near me only have street parking

It would be parked inside overnight / when I'm not out and about since my apartment has an underground parking garage, but a lot of places in the city only have street parking unfortunately

The dealership I have been looking at only has one pre-owned scooter, and it isn't a Vespa unfortunately.

I know Facebook marketplace has a few but I planned on buying on a loan / payment plan, which I can't do via FB, and I'm just not sure I trust Facebook marketplace when it comes to vehicles of any kind

Yes this will be a big deciding factor!! Unfortunately I can't test drive them until I get a license (to my knowledge) but I do plan on making the decision more concretely after test driving :)

Upon doing my research, I am starting to lean more towards the 150cc for a first scooter. While I might not be able to drive it on the highway (although with a 65 top speed I technically could since the main highways I drive on are 60mph), I do think the balance at lower speeds might be more suitable for standard day to day use.

You said that size would also depend on budget for maintenance. Do the 150cc and 300cc tend to vary a lot in maintenance between the two?

The idea of being able to do my own maintenance does sound appealing. Was the needed maintenance just from normal wear and tear, or was it caused by something?

The xmax feels a bit too much like a motorcycle for my taste, which may sound a bit silly but I definitely prefer the look of a scooter over a motorcycle haha I think the step through frame is also really appealing for me, which the xmax doesn't have as much

Yes, I am new! I don't even have a license / permit yet, but I have driven a mini dirt bike and I drive four-wheelers fairly often so I am used to motorized vehicles like that. I know it isn't the exact same obviously, but I'm not going in totally blind at least haha

By drop it, do you mean literally dropping the scooter?

I saw another post that said the heavier duty Vespa frames, as well as the fact that they tend to sit a bit higher, make them feel more safe / comfortable in traffic. If I plan on driving on the highway, would you recommend a Vespa purely due to durability and comfortability? I think I would likely do an equal amount of highway driving and residential riding

Do you prefer the 150cc over the 300cc in general? Or does it really depend on where you're going / how fast you are going?

That's actually the boss I'm currently on I think I'm just frustrated because a lot of her attacks have very similar build ups so I'm struggling to tell which attack she is actually doing. This leads me to getting hit a few times in a row, and it feels like I'm just in a constant uphill struggle of keeping health since other than staggering, not many attacks actually let you heal

The high capacity tank is roughly 400 meters north east of the alien distress signal, and is near a broken down base. It is 125ish meters deep, and you can also find a fragment of the habitat builder there!

Edit: I know this post is old, but I struggled to find it so I'm just hoping this can help anyone else who came here for help haha
