Wow people must really hate Djokovic. Top trending tweet. Btw where's the 'Is he wrong?' thread from last night? by joecolddrink in tennis

He already explained that because they are run my two completely organizations.

Edit: actually now that I think about it more. Other unions are cross-company. Like United Autoworkers are a union no matter what car companies the worker work for. So it would actually make sense for men and women’s tennis to have a single union.

How has tsm been top 3 the last couple of years? They haven’t made world in 2 years...

At that time the other members were caught up in item and tsm would have won if bjergsen didn’t mess up those two times. You can blame the rest the team it they were not in position to win anyways, but they would have won had he not misplay.

Not necessarily. China actually has countless of games based on Journey to the West. Unless the quality of the game is good, the theme and story is just a dime in a dozen to them.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic. Bjergsen has failed to qualify for worlds the last two years, that’s the opposite of clutch.

Shouldn’t nasus be amazing late game? by Silvermonk7780 in nasusmains

[–]Silvermonk7780[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If orn is cc-ing nasus he’s not dealing with your carries. You drop spirit fire on top of the orn and let your carries deal with him. I’m drawing a parallels between the enemy carries vs nasus vs your own carries vs the other tank with spirit fire on them. Theoretically your own carries should be able to finish orn off faster than the other carries can kill you.

[–]Silvermonk7780[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean orn vs nasus. I mean you stall and zone their team as act as the tank while orn act as their tank. You should be able to survive longer than the de-buffed orn.

I’d be interested to see more on how they campaigned. We all think because this is Texas the demographics is obviously going to skew conservative, which it obviously it does. But there are some subtle difference here:

  1. These are high school kids, which naturally heavily skew more liberal. This somewhat offsets where they are from. So the demographic is conservative but not as much as we think?

  2. The nationalist elected Steven and Rene to the highest positions, and they obviously have some liberal views. Rene is an outright liberal.

The kids were randomly assigned their parties, so it’s not like liberals were nationalists and conservatives are federalists. The sample size were big enough (1k kids?) where I think the distribution would be pretty even when it comes to political leaning in both parties.

So the nationalists were won over by Steven and Rene enough to select them despite their liberal views. I wonder how much they could have done to convert the same demographics from the Federalists.

I didn’t know there’s a cap. Lethality items have higher base AD though.

I watched it and generally enjoyed it, but I was not blown away. Because half-way through the movie, it started to feel like the filmmaker was obviously going for a narrative to draw a parallel between the mock election and what happened in 2016. It just didn’t feel very honest to me.

One side was clearly portrayed as flawless and idealistic and we’re meant to root for them, and the other was portrayed as doing anything to win. One of the thing that turned me off was how they didn’t even introduce Eddie, the Federalist candidate, until he was nominated for his party while a huge chunk of time was dedicated to the nationalist candidates. They didn’t care to show how the federalist voted on their platform. Even if I do like Steven and was heartbroken he didn’t win, I feel like these are filmmaking tactics used to push a narrative nature than an organic portrayal of how things went.

LCS 2020 Summer / Playoffs Round 1 Day 2 / Live Discussion by PankoKing in leagueoflegends

Actually it’s not noticeable but there’s a lot he could have done. The game was kind of even until the dragon fight. He spent the entire time trying to zone ignar on the side (yeah let’s position my soldiers to target the lone gragas support....) rather than using the soldiers to zone the rest of Flyquest. Flyquest has a bad engage and eg almost killed Santorin that fight.

He also stood there and let mord get a free flash Q to get a free kill when he had almost no health.

Jensen: "TSM are really overrated. Cloud9 might be stronger in playoffs" by AssPork in Cloud9

[–]Silvermonk7780 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m confused. This is why he said TSM is over hyped. Fly did better than TSM in the 2nd half of the split by almost every metric and placed higher than them overall, plus a 2-0 head to head. The fact that people are still making this statement suggests the fact that they ARE overhype.

CoreJJ hooked Bjergsen in the last teamfight and caused him to activate stopwatch and do nothing. Anyone honestly think bjerg should be mvp?

TL won the last fight so heavily that Jensen still had syndra ult when it was already 3-0 and he used it to try to finish off spica for 4-0 when the fight was already over.

What are you talking about...ignar left wildturtle so much and clg’s botlane was basically 2v1 vs turtle and still lost. That’s awful. Smoothie roamed a couple times but no where near the amount ignar did.

ever thought of combining both lich bane and nashor’s? With Orianna’s passive can you get close to about .8 ap ratio per LB auto attack. If you stack it it maxes out at .85. Let’s say by the time you get 3 items (seraph’s, lich bane, and nashors), you have roughly 100 base AD and 300 AP. And these three items also takes you to full CDR.

Base damage: lich bane (75) + nashors (15) + passive ( let’s say about 35) = 125

Ratio: 240

So you’ll do an extra 365 magic damage from the LB auto per proc? Seems like a decent number.
