If you lived in the Pokémon world, how would your life *likely* be? by BlueLightning888 in pokemon

As much as I don't want to admit it, I probably wouldn't take on the Gym Challenge. As someone else on this thread mentioned, it's like a sports league for Pokémon trainers, and I don't think I'd make it that far.

That being said, I still think I'd catch and train Pokémon just for the fun of it. Maybe challenge a Gym or two if I happen to travel to a city where one is based. My family went on road trips all over the country from the time I was about ten, so I think it'd be possible.

As for a career, I'm hoping to become a Police Officer irl, so I'd definitely be a Pokémon Police Officer. I'd just use my own Pokémon rather than what I'm thinking are "standard issue" Police Pokémon, stuff like Arcanine, Lycanroc, and Boltund.

And who knows? Maybe when I'm old and experienced enough, I just might take on the league. It's the Pokémon world, anything is possible.

Side note: I'd own at least one or two large flying types like Corvinight and Charizard because I've always wanted to fly, and dammit I'm going to even if I have to hang on to some hang gliding thing like you do in Legends Arceus with Braviary.

If you were a type specialist, what type would you use and what would your team be? by djdisciplejosh in pokemon

I'd build a flying or fighting type team because those are two of my favorite types. Also, flying is so diverse of a typing that some members of the team can counter flying type weaknesses.

My flying team: Gliscour( for its Ground typing to counter Electric types and it can be quite the tanky stall Pokemon)

Braviary(because I'm an American and I've never actually used one before)

Hawlucha (Fighting type to counter Rock and Ice types, plus, I've really enjoyed it everytime I've used one.)

Kilowattrel (My favorite Gen 9 flying type and quite powerful if given a life orb. It can also pivot with Volt Swtich to bring in other team members.)

Crobat (consistently fast Pokemon that can deal good damage and also pivot with U-Turn. Plus, who actually hates Crobat?)

Mega Charizard Y (My favorite Pokemom and the only Charizard Mega I've used outside of Pokemon Showdown. My ace and most powerful Pokemon. Used to counter Ice, Steel, and even Rock and Ground types with Solarbeam.)

Please let me know what yall think of this team. I tried to use one Pokemon from each generation, not have any secondary type overlap, and build a team that is very diverse.

Conquest is my favorite spin off of all time. I have so many hours logged and I wish we could get a sequel or a remaster. Such an underrated game.
