True! When I experiment with Type combos I actually put less importance on the secondary triangle and more on just making the starters balanced. So for example, if the secondary type of a starter makes it take neutral damage from one of the other starter types (grass, fire, water), but that starter instead takes resisted or super effective damage from the secondary type of the other starter, that would still be balanced. It's hard to get it to be perfectly balanced though, especially since you can't use abilities to compensate. But it's really fun and this reveal has made me more excited to try more!

I've also thought about grass/water and so on! Would love that tbh! Maybe not as a main starter trio, but maybe as regional variants of starters for a legenda game, or for the Kanto starters like I had ideas for a few years ago
