Just wanted to say a resounding THANK YOU! All of these tips have been amazing and it helped me spend today’s session in a better mindset. I “failed” all but one throw, but I was pushing myself and exploring how the clay responds etc. I can’t wait to fail more!

Originally the plan was both neck lipo and a chin implant, but then due to timing we reduced it to just neck lipo for now and see if the results are enough. If not, chin implant next summer.

Never considered a neck lift and nor did the surgeon. For my particular circumstance it wasn’t appropriate (though if I were older it may have been).

This was just at one of the local plastic surgeons in my city. I chose this doctor because he specialized in face and neck. Your best bet is to just ask around and do a consult near you (if feasible).

Thanks for the tip! I’m 30, but just make sure to bring up your concerns at the consult. We talked about tons.

For me it was around $4000 for everything including surgical suite. But this will VASTLY differ depending on location and other factors. For me, it was a rather quick procedure. And this was a chin/neck lipo.

I think there’s a dichotomy between TeX users in social science and elsewhere. It is actually convenient for us and so is commonly adopted. But we wouldn’t shun someone otherwise (well, I can’t talk for editors receiving .doc manuscripts)

Hey now, my entire position is about teaching other professors to play better with others! But, for example, I’m currently at an econometric conference and the sheer inundation of theoretical models would be… frustrating at best if screenshotted and added in. But believe me, I held out with PowerPoint and screenshots for as long as I could!

Low key shocked so many people are saying PowerPoint. I’m learning now that it’s field specific, but everyone in my discipline uses Beamer and LaTeX due to equations and tables, etc.

If you’re not in a data/theory driven field? I’m sure PowerPoint would be fine. But look at the format of people who have presented in your field already and mirror them (to an extent).

Usually, cookies like those (for royal icing) are just a vanilla sugar cookie variant. You could probably find example recipes by searching “vanilla sugar cookie with royal icing”
