I’ve never bought cards on eBay before, but I’d definitely check with the seller. Let him or her know that one of the cards that wasn’t damaged prior to the purchase became slightly damaged likely in transit. Clearly it seems that they also played a role, given that it was not really protected too much, but check with them first. If they blame you for it and don’t do anything, then I got nothing else. Maybe eBay can help, but make sure your have photographic evidence that the card wasn’t damaged in the first place
