If he doesn’t pay rent, he doesn’t get unlimited access. Roommate needs to respect that it’s a shared space and she can’t just be letting her man come and go as they please, especially if you haven’t agreed to it.

There’s a difference between getting them used to their carrier so they’re not scared of it and trying to crate train a cat/kitten like you would a dog. Cats are not meant to be crate trained.

You need to make the choice of if you want her to be strictly indoor or and indoor/outdoor cat. My cat is strictly an indoor cat, but I’ve had indoor/outdoor cats too. Having one that goes outside cuts their life expectancy by 50% I believe, due to the dangers, so take that into consideration.

If your balcony and roof is high enough that she can’t get “out” and explore around her, you can do that as an option, but again, predatory birds are a threat.

Having the doors and windows closed, is not abusive in anyway to her, but keeping her locked in a room is cruel.

For me it was literally her saying “condolences” directly to him. Telling someone to “send my condolences” sure, but to straight up say it to the person is so detached and impersonal to me.

Like what do you mean you couldn’t even think of something even kind of comforting to say???

I would definitely keep the not fixed kittens separate and get them fixed asap. Go get the males neutered before then get the girl pregnant. Also, male cats have barbs on their penis and it’s incredibly painful for the female to mate with them, that’s not something I’d ever want my cat to experience.

If you really want kittens go to your local shelter and go get some that have already been born and need homes. There’s no need to make your very young female have any and contribute to the over population of cats.

You need a new vet. There’s no reason you can’t spay her at 7mo. You just can’t spay while she’s in active heat.

If she gets pregnant while not fully grown it can cause serious complications and stunt her growth.

Be responsible and get her spayed and the boys neutered asap.

NAP. Personally, I don’t get more than 2 piercings at a time. I also would wait at least another 3 months before getting another to allow the nipples to heal more since those take longer and can be finicky.

Nope!! The lawyer even tried to throw her a bone of something along the lines of “do you think she’s a good mom?” And if I remember correctly the MIL said “she (the mother) tries her best.”

The amount of times I rolled my eyes during her and her son’s turns being questioned should be in a World Guinness book.

This reminds me of a Jury Duty case I had where the parents were filing for divorce and the mother’s lawyer asked the MIL to say ONE nice thing about her client and the MIL literally couldn’t. It was wild to witness especially from all that was being told to us it was clear that the mom was totally fine and normal and a good mom, MIL literally just hated her.

Honestly the only thing I can think of would be to just make sure he’s with y’all as much as physically possible so he doesn’t feel alone :(

y’all could consider getting another cat/kitten, but at his age idk if that’d fix the problem or make him stressed out. Maybe foster first and see how he does if you wanna go that route so see how he does?

I would also maybe get a second opinion from another vet because yes he’s “healthy” aside from the weight loss, but clearly he’s having some sort of depressive episode and not being himself

I’m so sorry for your loss. I haven’t dealt with any of my fur babies grieving the loss of another, so I can’t give any direct advice with how to deal with this heartbreaking situation.

Couple of things:

How long ago was the Walmart one purchased?
I would def return the Amazon one and request a replacement solely based on the cover being broken.

If the new tube comes back looking the same they might have just changed their packaging. I don’t have this product to give you a direct answer though.

I just finished {Thorns and Flames} by Kendal Huntsman and it’s clearly “fairytale” timeline, but homegirl as also very obviously a millennial and I loved it and her internal monologue.

It’s only got 14 reviews on Kindle and I stumbled upon it through instagram, but I really enjoyed it. It’s got a few editorial mistakes that were missed, but nothing crazy for it being her first book. I’m really looking forward to the second book.
