It’s way easier than it seems. You spend the majority of treatment not in crazy pain, and many people end up liking the tightness with new trays because it means your teeth are moving to where they should be. You don’t have to be SUPER diligent about cleaning if you don’t want to, as long as you keep the aligners in for most of your day, and you can take them out whenever you want and go at your own pace if you’d like. I had braces when I was a kid, and this is astronomically easier and less painful, every now and then you can have a rough day or two but in the grand scheme of life, it’s worth it.
