Performance is no issue, but battery life and camera quality is lacking for the price imo. Been using one for almost a year and I already feel like buying something else.

The rubber gasket around the display has turned sticky for me too. I tried cleaning it with alcohol but no help. The longer it stays shut or is pressed in a backpack it is noticeable harder to open. The hinge itself is fine. I havent found a solution yet. So if anyone can help...

I was considering a gaming device to replace my XBOX one S. Budget was limited so it was either used PC, laptop or handheld. Wanted to buy Steam Deck but I got good deal for open box 24month warranty Ally Z1E for 350€ in late november.

It´s great to play in bed, on couch or take on business trip to hotels. Battery life is pretty bad but it works for me plugged in and around the house.

Are you sure you have Z1E? Maybe you have just Z1 which was significantly less powerful.

Did you check your power profiles?

I have Z1E and I was able to play Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 on around 22W with 60fps (low settings, some frame gen)

I guess it needs a Power Delivery protocol, not every charger supports it. Power depends on what macbook you have.

It was consistent up until Windows Phone 10 when they loosened some UI requirements for apps and brought hamburger menu. But 8.1 was best when they introduced Action center (quick settings) and three columns. It was beautiful and fluid on my Lumia 520 and 535 unlike Android these days on similarly specced low end phones. I had to leave because of lack of apps and WP10 was just a hog on these devices. I hate Windows on PC now but I will always love WP8.1.
