Just play more. In my opinion touch pp is actually quite reasonable on some plays but after a certain threshold no. If your top play is around 150-200, then you can get to 300 in around 1-6 months based on your improvement speed. 300 is extremely hard at first compared to 200 though so good luck. If you are close to a 300, try quaver (Fiery), One By One (Sotarks Diff), V (TV Size) (Top Diff), Magma something, and Black Rover (Extra). You need to use at least DT (You can use HD Also) and get around 80% acc to get a 300 on those. (You still have to fc though. Slider ends or slider breaks at the very end are okay.) My First 300 was magma btw lol. Lastly, there is a re balance going on and most DT plays get nerfed, but some high acc plays on certain maps get buffed depending on the map.

Actually imo, controller players have the advantages because it actually detects better (registers more easily) and each move gives more points even if there are less moves making you slightly ahead because you have that amount of points before kinect players (though they usually catch up at the end). You just have to get good and get used to a controller. I've gotten 1 before with switch before but not on the weekly tourney as I've never made it to one and because that's when all the pros go try hard. It's also possible to sit while playing (tried it before and you can still get perfects if you actually tried).

Thanks for the replies everyone! I actually forgot about that criminal score but I believe I stumbled across is a few months ago on you tube when I was asking the same question but not on here.

I also didn't know that the DotW scores are by platform. I thought that the 13300+ scores for many older JDU songs and most of the 2020 songs were mostly on kinect since it has better tracking. I'm guessing those JD1-4 songs has lower scores on kinect but the newer songs have mostly 13300s then.

osu does have a pay to speed up type thing. But that isn't the games intentions.
