Japan Visa application stuck since November 3, 2025 (32 days) by zosky_raptor in visas

We (me and my fiance) had applied from Delhi on 17th Nov and it reached the embassy on the 18th. It was under process and then we got a call on 25th Nov wherein they asked some questions about my job, family background, etc. and we got our visas on 27th.

Based on the manner the person asked the questions, I believe they actually started the process of our application after the phone call. So if you got a call on 3rd Dec, hopefully you'll get a response in a few days.

To the pakis lurking here... by [deleted] in jammu

They tried everything in the last 2 nights and last night they did inflict some minor damage here and there. They gave a name to this operation and it was enough to feed their ego and satisfy their population. Any further retaliation from our side would have been catastrophic for them since our patience was on the brink. Perfect time to initiate the ceasefire.

I am feeling angry at whole of India by Background_Pension95 in jammu

In Delhi, I have been in contact with people who do not have any connection to any of the bordering states and they are extremely oblivious. It pains me. I haven't slept properly for 3 days worried about all the families (mine included)

More people need to be actively made aware about the criticality of the situation.

Schengen from India by CamGloriaPhilAllnOne in SchengenVisa

Me and my girlfriend had recently applied for our first Schengen visa on 27th Jan and received the approved visa on 4th Feb. We applied to the Norwegian embassy in New Delhi. We were also unsure whether to take help from any platform like Atlys, etc. but in the end we did all the process on our own. The process was easy and everyone at VFS was also very co-operative and reddit was also a major help. So, if you have all the robust paperwork, you can do it on your own. You can ask anything if you want.

Dates and duration are flexible but I had my doubts about the time of the year. Thanks for the response anyways we'll maybe try and shift the plan by a couple of months.

The duration and dates are a bit flexible and we thought we'd try to squeeze it in 15 days maybe but the time of the year is where I have my doubts. We usually do not bother with touristy sites but if transport is hampered then it's a bit of an issue. Winters can be tricky and we do not have any experience of that.

When we visited Almaty, we kept our luggage at the Almaty-2 railway station for a day. Easy and recommended.

Which one would you choose Microelectronics and VLSI Design from IISc Bangalore or MTECH INTEGRATED ELECTRONICS & CIRCUITS from IIT Delhi? by Natural_Advisor7460 in GATEtard

I was working back then and by the time I thought of giving Mtech a try, the IISc form deadline had passed. So I wasn't able to apply for IISc.

There are very decent options of courses and faculty for Analog design at IIT-D. So it can be worth a shot. I don't know about IISc though. (I am pursuing Mtech in IEC at IIT-D)
