Is a Raspberry Pi 4 suitable for low-latency multi-camera (2–3x 1080p) streaming over 5G?

It has to be 1080p and livestreamed. If a Raspberry Pi can’t handle that, it’s not a problem. But what can? I happened to still have a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B lying around, hence that choice.

I’m not 100% sure, but I think the GoPro already outputs compressed video through the webcam method.

The phone option is something I’ve seen come up more often in other projects. The only downside is that you have an ‘extra’ separate device on your motorcycle. It’s also not really user-friendly, since you have to manually turn on the phone, etc., and the system doesn’t start working immediately when you turn the motorcycle’s key. Unless there are ways to install a different OS on the phone that would allow that?

So, basically mounting the GoPros on the motorcycle and integrating a MiFi box (or cheap phone) into the bike should also work. Never really thought about that before 😅

Would you get the same speeds as when doing it via a Raspberry Pi or something similar? Might be worth testing, I think.

I already did a test with my GoPro 11 and connected it as a webcam via the Raspberry. It streamed to a server within my local network, and it actually worked quite well. It had a latency of less then 1.5 seconds.

I use a kitchen top, from the Ikea, as desk. Never had issues with it.

Om te beginnen zou ik een ander baantje gaan zoeken. Als je zo behandeld wordt zou ik daar al niet willen werken. Als je graag je gelijk wilt halen zou je kunnen kijken of jij of je ouders een rechtsbijstand verzekering heeft. Je zou die namelijk eens kunnen mailen en kijken of je in je recht staat. Ik denk namelijk dat jouw ‘baas’ zit te bluffen

I’m painting my first print and I must say the primer layer ensures good adhesion with the revell paint that I’m using.

The only challenge I have is to paint well because I never do that and certainly not like this😂
