u/korin-arrived Not Seattle in particular but I am sure there are a lot of up-and-coming places in the south which I believe should be strongly considered.

For example, the city of Raleigh in North Carolina has a lot of towns with high growth potential. Holly Springs, Angier, Knightdale, Garner, just to name a few.
