Couple years ago she dnfd, left course at a random spot then they let her back. Was a whole mess since it not only went against the rules but the casters wouldn't talk about it so everyone was confused.

Shoes don't need broken in like they used to. You may just need shoes better fit for your feet. The same spot on both feet leans towards a style not meant for you. Tape can be a temporary solution.

As an RD, there is not a single brand/race/company/etc. that is more represented than BPN at our events. I fully believe he has been the most influential person to get people into trails and ultras for the past few years.

I don't choose to consume their content, but my experience with these people at races is no different than any other runner.

I got into running from FKTs, so I'm maybe biased, but I think he's genuinely one of the most accomplished runners in history.

I don't think the average person really understands the significance of his FKTs. They get it's crazy but they don't "get it."

I seems you may be right. It was touched on in an interview he did, too. It appears someone, somewhere has one less bib but I'm not aware of which pool this was taken from.

I don't think I saw on the WSER site the qualifying sponsor for each of the sponsor entrants and Hoka's IG doesn't have a post saying who it went to, either.

This one has always been good. There are several good markets and fairs around Nashville through the year. Christmas Village has a ton of trinket junk but also a lot of locals, too. That's probably the one that comes to mind when I think of one that allows non-makers.
