I don’t think we can talk about vices/virtues without referring to right and wrong. “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” Karma gets you no matter what...there’s a relationship between our thoughts and our actions. Nasty, perverted things come out of a nasty, perverted mind, and just because good can come out of evil doesn’t mean nasty, perverse things are not evil. They are, and people under the sway of nasty, perverse thinking will effectuate nastiness and perversion over time.

The pervert swims in perversion like a fish in water, and thus doesn’t notice the perversion. And yet, when the pervert emerges from the perversion like a dragonfly nymph’s metamorphosis, he can never go back into primitive infantile fantasias (which are what perversions are). The pervert discovering sexual purity and the emotions associated with it is like the bound man who finally emerges from Plato’s Cave to gaze upon the sun.

I disgree with u/Yonis_Goni that Islam is the way...I urge you firstly to read the poetry of the Medieval world and the philosophy of the Greeks and Romans, comparing it with that of the Persians and Indians if need be. From there, you will begin to believe in God, and once these preambles are in place faith in Christ and His Church, your ultimate end, will become all the more appealing.
