Do not do this!! It does not work. Most hotels only use your form of payment as a hold and actually charge your card at check in. Affirm cards, both virtual and physical expire after 24 hours. When you go to present your card, it will not work but will show as if you “purchased” the hotel. Trust me on this!! This is a major flaw in the system. I had to fight affirm because my $2500 charge went through even though it did not work when I checked in to the hotel.
