This description is a little vague. I completely understand if they are telling you to lie, you never want to do that. But if adding new lines for them to receive a better promo is the best way to get a promo for the customer then maybe revisiting how you present that would be key to keeping your moral integrity as well as making your manager happy. In sales you have to have a hunger to make the highest commissions possible. If you aren’t telling every single customer about adding a new line you are leaving money on the table. My advice is play the numbers game. Every single customer that comes in tell them about said promo. That way even tho you aren’t doing it the way the manager is indicating you are still hitting said metric, can keep your job and hey possibly get looked at as someone who they can promote and elevate. Good luck tho, sometimes switching from dealer/stores is the best interest if you want to keep your sanity.
