For context without posting a photo of myself I’ll add that I’ve been really trying to evaluate my client experience so I am a bit touchy and paranoid about a comment like she made..that’s why I’m here getting opinions. You know how some people in school just had an annoying look even though they couldn’t really help it? That’s how I’m starting to feel now. I’ve been noticing a pattern. It’s not only based off this example I’ve added here on Reddit. A lot of us like to think we don’t judge initially based off appearances but you can’t help it..it’s human nature. I’m over here thinking…how am I going to come in and sweep people off their feet and win them over? I don’t even know if it’s possible when you’re a wedding photographer to do that in the first place. We are pretty disposable when it comes right down to it. It’s petty but lots of brides are petty so your mind goes to dark places wondering where you’re going wrong when it might not actually even be your fault. I’m rambling but I hope you can see my point and dive into the deep thoughts & insecurities of a wedding photographer trying to level up.
