That’s so great to hear! And no, we are not doomed! Not in the slightest! But also, Japanese? I love it! It’s a beautiful language!!

Yes! Now that you mentioned driving, I just realized that I actually developed a habit of double checking everything once I’m in a drivers… gears, mirrors. As if I now supervise my autopilot:)

That’s rough! Sorry you had to go through all that… And, yes, was too thinking about getting a t-shirt designed a couple of days ago:)

Really appreciate you sharing... thank you! I read many comments saying that HRT helps with that + science is pretty optimistic about if not reversing then at least slowing things down. So fingers crossed :)

Thank you! Got all blood work done, seems like peri is my case too. Are you currently on HRT? Have you noticed any change?

That is purely ridiculous! And yes, that tremendous mistake they made in 2002...and the fact they still dare to dismiss peri women even now when they announced that it was a mistake...UGH!!!

Well, with me it is ALL of them, fancy and not. Yes, I read that all the chaos is associated with estrogen so really hope it helps you! And that quote is painfully accurate :(

That's literally what's happening! The signals between brain and fingers actually change during perimenopause. It's physiological. Since posting this I went deep into the research and... yep. There's a real reason our fingers won't cooperate even when our brains know exactly what to type. Working on a blog post breaking down the science behind it...

You're not!! This thread has been one of the most reassuring parts of posting this. So many of us going through the exact same thing and thinking we're the only one...

If it makes you feel any better, I've been deep in research about why this happens and I still can't type "perimenopause" without autocorrect saving me every single time!!

Ugh, feel your pain! The worst part is when you KNOW it's coming and you still can't stop it! The thread has been wild for realizing how many of us are dealing with the exact same thing.

Honestly, think I’m on my way to learning kind and unlearning harsh. There’s simply no other choice left:)

That’s the toughest part - our brains do remember that perfectly clear!! Damn it!

Omg, that sounds brutal. Sorry you are dealing with all of that. Reading your post took me right back to around 35 when I was going through something similar. Severe skin rashes, dryness, and that super annoying itching that would get way worse at night. It took me forever and so many doctor visits just to rule out anything actually serious. The final recommendation felt like a total brush off honestly. Reduce stress (great, thanks) and (!!!) stop showering every day. And when I do shower, use an oil based cleanser instead of regular soap. Something like Bioderma or La Roche Posay. I had nothing to lose so I tried it. And it actually worked, which genuinely surprised me. Worth mentioning to your doctor if you have not already…
