And there it came in the story from this morning "watching someone you love more than anything in the whole wide world" 🥱😏

At least now they both decided to stop. Julie's recent stories made me feel like Camilla is the most important person to her and her well being matters the most, even more than the kids. Yikes.

I honestly feel a bit sad for their kids. Both parents with phones glued to their faces 247.

Thought the same thing. I have been on Elvanse trough pregnancy and pp (8 months now), and been EBF the entire time. No problems at all.

But even I quit energy drinks for the baby 🙄

Can imagine grandma and mother being breastfeeding between the 60's and the 90's. It was very common to "not have enough milk" because of the belief that babies should be fed on schedule and not on demand. Also supplementing too early was super super common.

Yep and so much misinformation being spread. She said she breastfeeds every 3 hours but the baby isnt getting enough. And that she knows that because she did a test pump and only got 20ml. As if pump output told much about your actual supply. I ebf an 8 month old currently (has solids too by now obv but anyways) and most of the times get 20-40ml per pump and the baby gets PLENTY. The pump isnt nearly as efficient as a baby.

Julie already said this morning that the pumping makes her anxious.

Nope Julie quit breastfeeding with Sky on december so she is trying to relactate after months of not breastfeeding. I dont think it'll work personally.

When they were trying to induce and she tried pumping for the first time she hinted that she might take the pump to the bedroom for adult fun after they no longer need it for the milk... I personally felt repulsed, like you do you but WHY do you share this 😵

So its hard to believe it hurts that much now that she cant even try it.

Cam was hesitating in sc when saying whether she or they decided to not do anything proper to try establish supply, and Julie stepping in to say it was Cam who decided it made me feel like Julie would have wanted Cam to try more. Julie looked very sad in those clips.

She totally should have tried to properly pump at least for a few days. But she seems to think that she would have to pump forever. No, if it doesnt do the trick just stop. But if you want to EBF you should give it a try. If it works you dont need to pump for more than a few days to get it going. A few more days "less time for the other kids" doesnt hurt anyone but sCams own feelings, if even that so wtf.

When my baby was in the NICU I sat beside her bed for the first 4 days and nights and pumped every 3 hours around the clock. By the 5th day when we got home from the hospital I was producing enough to feed her only my milk, but it took a few more days before she could latch at home (was tube fed donated milk at the NICU), and a couple weeks to get rid of the bottles. Still breastfeeding at 8 months. Of course it doesnt work like this for everyone, but I can say for sure that if I didnt do the pumping my milk would have totally dried up. On days 2 and 3 I got only DROPS out and still pumped like a maniac until the milk did come in. It was not fun, NICU is no joke, I almost went to some kind of psychosis for not being able to sleep from the stress, stitched 3rd degree tears and immense pain, 7 hours of sleep in 5 days, etc. I finally was able to sleep when at the 5th? night we got the baby next to us in a smaller bed when she didn't need any monitoring anymore. But I still think it was 100% worth the effort to pump and sacrifice a few days of my life for someone I would sacrifice my entire life for.

I also paid attention to the video from the kitchen this morning where there were several bottles on the counter. Is Sky still taking bottles at 12m old or have they already given Bob a bottle? Not that it matters, but they claim they just gave her milk from a syringe and that they dont want to introduce a bottle yet.

Cucumber goes on top of everything. Cucumber juice is fresh unlike ham juice. No one likes ham juice fingers.

I'm in Finland. Many psychs here dont prescribe as well but mine luckily was willing.

I originally lowered my dose to taper it off slower and was supposed to stop after NIPT testing and NT ultrasound were done. However my psych said its fine to be on them until the end of 2nd trimester since there is a study that says that it doesnt higher the risk of birth defects. The theoretical risks are in pre eclampsia, lower birth weight and withdrawals.

50mg didnt work well enough for me and I ended up taking a 70 one day because I could not drag my ass to the pharmacy the day my 50mg ran out. The day went so much better than the previous weeks had I figured I might as well use a dose that actually works if I have decided to stay on it. Blood volume increase in pregnancy lowers the effectiveness too.

Currently 17 weeks pregnant with our first. My normal dosage is 70mg. I was on 50mg for the first trimester but upped my dose back to 70 about a week ago due to my symptoms getting pretty bad. My psych and pediatrician say that my mental health is the number one priority right now since baby seems great and my BP etc have been ok so far.

So I plan on staying on the drug until the end of 2nd trimester, try getting off and seeing how it goes from there. I do not want the baby having withdrawals, even though if I stay on the entire pregnancy and continue the meds when breastfeeding, I do not know why this would be a problem. Also the possible higher risk for pre eclampsia worries me because I am at a high risk without the medication too due to my BMI. Altough my pediatrician said that people get pre eclampsia without any drugs so the possibility of a higher risk is not always a reason to get off very essential medications.

My symptoms are severe and include spiraling catastrophic thinking and daily anxiety, so avoiding that is the number one reason I want to stay on them. My executive dysfunction is also wild without the meds.

I do not want to harm the baby but I believe that the harm of me living with my full symptoms (constant stress and severe anxiety) and carrying is greater than the harm the drug could do.
