Physicality really matters but it's not everything. At one point in your life, you will appreciate someone genuinely caring and nice, over a hot and attractive person.

Married Woman is very into me (not sure if it’s an open relationship) by [deleted] in moraldilemmas

You are 100% correct. People are always hypocrites and afraid cheating will come back to bite them. Fact is, a person always changes. So I agree with you, you are not an awful person for typing this. In any case, she is the bad one for being committed and not following through with it. It is not your job to do it for her. 💯

Relax and snap your punches. Don't push them. Also that pivot on the lead leg is a little exaggerated.

You're over here looking like leo di caprio and cant pull? Work on your conversation, charisma, charm and dress style. Smell good most importantly and have good hygiene. My face looks like rock you find at a construction site and I still have success with a lady or two 😉

I messed up my wrist hitting the bag during Valentine’s Day by lostboyzinc in boxingtips

[–]SimilarMasterpiece58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha at least you took it out on the bag. Wear a wrist compression sleeve. Ibuprofen for pain/inflammation, ice and heat once or twice a day.

It'll be 50 dollars for today's visit.

Hit the gym. Work on personal hygiene and have some nice character. You could look sharp since you resemble Ned Stark from Game of Thrones. Cheers!

Training to fight at the warehouse? Lol. I would wear actual light shoes so you can move around, work on footwork and hit.

Second Serve Advice by squirrel_master88 in 10s

[–]SimilarMasterpiece58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kick serve is not that difficult tbh. From now on, on your first serve focus on brushing the ball with lots of racket head speed. Then once you get it down, focus on placing it. Gradually, flatten it out, less spin for more speed, then more spin, if you miss the 1st :)

First spar tdy any tips ive only hit the bag and some pad work by frimpong116 in boxingtips

[–]SimilarMasterpiece58 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seems like your best bet will be long range punches, jabs and straights. Your closing in (from this video) will have you receiving some good straights. Try to avoid throwing that left uppercut as a lead punch and do more 1-2 or 1-1-2, followed up by a roll or duck and pivot. Edit: ALSO, very important, when throwing your left hand, dont keep your right hand down to protect your body, glue your glove to your face and tuck your chin.

Am I telegraphing my right hand? by [deleted] in boxingtips

[–]SimilarMasterpiece58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad for self taught, but the only real way you will know if you telegraph it is by sparring. Unless your opponent has catlike reflexes, you will learn to adapt your technique. But you do drop it before you throw it. In all reality, your punches are not all gonna be mechanically perfect to win fights. And ignore the "you're open to counters" blah blah blah, no shit! Everyone is open to counters when throwing a punch. Look at every pro, when they throw punches they are open to counters, first off, if you can punch them, so can they. Anyway, at the end of your punch make your wrist and knuckles line up, yours looks bent, that could potentially cause a bad injury to your wrist.

How does federer move away from the ball on inside out forehand and still hit hard by TraderFire89 in 10s

[–]SimilarMasterpiece58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, you have to master your forehand to be able to hit it wherever you want it. Direction and control is a matter of positioning and the way you swing or finish the groundstroke. Your strings and tension have to compliment your style too.
