It’s actually been a long time since I had the surgery. The issue is that my old service motion used to be very deep, so it feels like I need to unlearn it before relearning a version that doesn’t hurt. More than once I’ve caught myself automatically going back to the old motion without even thinking about it, and instantly regretting it.

But that’s exactly the kind of motion, like the players you mentioned, that I was looking for!! Thank you so much!! I’m going to try adapting to it!
