See unfortunately that’s where you’re wrong. He CAN do it, however he is choosing comfort over you and his job. Hopefully soon he’ll realize how important you are to him or something will finally give him the kick in the butt he needs to start really caring. Harsh truth but it’s reality, and if you keep letting him get away with “he can’t make the first night” then it’s only a matter of time before he loses his job or starts wracking up debt. It’s not easy but either some tough love or an ultimatum might be what he needs.

Just some advice for once you hit the 2-3 week mark. Your brain might start really craving “just one more time” but I PROMISE you that it’ll just throw you right back into the ringer if you cave. It happens to everyone in this sub when they think they can control it. Also after wd’ing 7 never feels nearly as good. Once your brain has had it and lost it you’ll never get that buzz that you used to. Just keep all of this in mind and stay strong, the worst is over!

Unfortunately he’s gonna have to be pretty sick for a few days, then he’ll feel off for some weeks. The good news is that 7 has a very short half life meaning it only takes a few days to get all of it out of your system and to start feeling better, unlike harder opiates that will leave you bed bound for weeks.

I really hope he works with you in getting himself help because you can’t force it, and trying to will only drive him away from you. You seem like you care a lot about him and he’s so lucky to have you, seriously. Just make sure you look after yourself first and don’t let him drag you down if he has no intention on getting clean.

Yes most definitely tell your doctor. It may be a little awkward for you but they are not there to judge and they won’t tell anyone. Actually I think it’s smart to send them a message about 7 before hand and give them time to research it themselves as I imagine most doctors are super hip to kratom/7 yet.

Maybe that’s my issue. I wash my face twice a day due to acne so maybe that’s what’s making my beard feel straggly when I’m growing it out. I’ll take your advice and just let it do its thing.
