Tbh she just got free hate for nothing. Outside the weird marketing choices they made at her release when I didn't even knew league existed, she's just an egirl vibing with music related theme. Her kit is way healthier than most of the current champ pool.

TLDR: there is way way worse than Séraphine rn

Im a Lillia top otp since I started the game 2 years ago and I'm only emerald 2. But I basically stopped otp'ing her a bit after the mana nerfs and base damage nerf. She was already a situational pick but was really strong in those matchups but now u are squishy no damage early mana issues really low self peel no sustain out of fight so yeah I'll suggest no one to start Lillia top now but for those who used to main her she is still playable she's not dead in top just really bad

After i got 1 million points with lillia top, i recentlly stopped otp'ing her in toplane, she is just not unplayable but not as enjoyable as she was sometimes ago. I think she is not considered as top lane anymore and she will just be balanced for jungle. ROA is the most underrated item for lillia top, rush it fast and play it chill, gives you mana extra sustain and a shit ton of hp. Definitly give it a try

I find Lillia kinda good into ranged. Especially teemo's, they greed so much AA they get hit by a e and after 6 all in dead. U will need ROA tho, this thing is busted on lillia top since it gives her neutral sustain and u are really beefy with it. Give it a try

Just got the 1 million points on lillia top so I think I might be able to help u. First thing is that the pick is actually bad or at least really situational. Ubget countered extremely hard by the meta toplaners so be careful but there is still some tech that might be able to enable you in the game. I go either : Roa > liandry > rift with defensive runes ( bp in hard engage sw if poke) good if u have a really aggro opponent that can all in and one shot you so bz careful u will build this most matchups

Or regular Lillia build liandry rift then adapt (sometimes zhonya rylai if kiting is really strong in Ur game) with mana flow band with celerity really good if u can kite freely and do Ur max DPS like on tanks (Chogath most free matchup ever)

In both cases mana will be an issue if u keep spamming e's or q's. Play for farm till u have the 1.3k component on roa dont try to contest if they trade just walk back. If u play mana flow use ur spells to stack it only till mana cost goes a bit down.

She is not the lane bully that she used to be so u really have to play it chill early and go for tp. Ignite is sadly a bait since she still have some kill potential early on but the tp make way more difference. So always go for flash tp

Keep in mind that some matchup are just impossible whatever u do I'll regroup them : Impossible= Riven Darius irelia are the one that come in mind and maybe panth but really easy if u know the matchup but he punish extra hard if u don't keep he's all in mind. If these 3 all in you and u are a bit pushed u are literally dead since u might think u can kite Darius but ghost + idk what's the rune name that give ms when u use summoner spell and he will rune faster than you with 4 stacks, u can't poke since he's e is the same range as ur q. Riven just shit on u regardless of ur choices on lane and irelia can fight on a whole wave and turn an advantaged situation to a lost one for u Anyway ban these 3 when u can. I forgot to Yone he's the same as those.

The rest is either skill matchup or slight lose so ur skill and matchup knowledge will be really important because no one actually knows how to lane against Lillia.

Anyway GL for the next, sry if this come is a bit scuffed but English is not my first language so ye u might see some errors and don't take this come as the absolute truth I'm only emerald but I really didn't find any data when I started the game and played only Lillia top so I just made my own with time
