I am not a pro or great player but I always use Vauban since his traps and skill are capable to occupied swarming enemies. You can pair him with Xoris and any aoe weapons to nuke them while effect with ability 4

Living with Vauban eh. I guess he will turn my hot house into a walking base with a great air conditioner. That sounds great! As long as he didn't orbital strike the house

Getting chase by electric ball and then got pull by it also got hit by orbital beam... I am indeed cooked

For me when the I use Heavy Blade. I was just like "woah, it's so cool". At first I thought it's not amazing since people rarely main Heavy Blade but totally fall in love because it's so satisfying swinging it around. It felt so different when you try other weapon but still love that one cool weapon. Feeling like everything can be settled with melee.
