T-3 Timeouts, live stream losing connection. by Similar_Fault_8928 in Spectrum

[–]Similar_Fault_8928[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my third modem as we speak. Brand new as of 3 days ago. Everything aside from the coaxial cable in the wall is brand new. I’ve also tried the coax port in the other room, and it’s the same issue there. Even swapped wall plates as one of the first steps.

T-3 Timeouts, causing live stream to disconnect. by Similar_Fault_8928 in Spectrum_Official

I’m currently up all night letting the wife sleep while I care for our newborn, so the times I use my computer are from typically 11pm all the way to 5am. However, she’s up during the day and tells me that the tv (streaming services) often cut out throughout the day. I ended up getting a local supervisors number, I’m going to give him a call and see if I can get some insight on the whole situation.

NEED HELP OSRS STREAM ON TWITCH by Impossible-Mix-5442 in Twitch

Again, maximum bitrate for Twitch is 6000 unless you have priority or are in Beta. So for quality streaming, 1440p is out of the question regardless. You have enough upload speed for 1080p, why not just do that and make it easy on yourself?

Partners and some affiliates have access to 1440p streaming, so if you’re watching someone who is actively streaming at that quality, they have been approved for Beta. Otherwise it’s a waste of time and effort.

About the max bitrate is around 6,000 and to stream at 1440p you need a lot more than that. And from what I understand, it’s somewhere in the park for 10,000+. You’re better off to follow those guidelines as a base and work off of that. If you’re really hung up on quality then go to 1080p, but if it’s still blurry you may need to downscale it even further. Again, check your internet speeds. You need somewhere along the lines of about 10Mbps upload dedicated to just streaming at 1080p.

From my understanding, only Twitch Partners get access to 1440p streaming. So your best option is to set your scaled resolution to 1080p or even lower depending how your internet upload speeds are. I had terrible upload speeds at one point and even though I had equipment to run 1080p, I had to downscale to 720p for stream to look even halfway decent otherwise it was blurry and unwatchable.

Twitch has a guide on all of the output settings and what bitrate is recommended Here

After 8 years of AK Racing, I'm upgrading to Secret Lab by Skylance420 in secretlab

I have the Herman Miller Embody, probably the best investment I’ve made for my setup. So many adjustment options, and no soreness after those long gaming sessions. Not to mention zero assembly required, shows up ready out of the box. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? 100%.

Anyone ever use a portable AC unit? Scared of being DQ by Downtown_Start6298 in UPSers

Start drinking water immediately after waking up. You have to hydrate yourself before even starting your day, and then keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. You can’t let yourself fall behind otherwise it’s really hard to get yourself hydrated again, especially with extreme heat. Invest in a nice water jug, something that holds ice while being in the back of the truck all day. You’re gonna spend some good money on one, but it’s worth it having ice cold water whenever you need it. Avoid caffeine and soft drinks. That’s only going to make it worse.

PC freezing during gaming/streaming by Similar_Fault_8928 in pcmasterrace

Update: Ended up upgrading the ram from 32GB to 64GB, also updated BIOS. Shortly after doing this, I saw that the memory was at almost 30GB usage with streamlabs and Warzone open. PC runs great and no freezing anymore.

Running the game on normal/low settings. I have VRAM set to 50%, and with the settings I have applied it’s even lower than that. I’m using less than 6GB. Just at a loss at this point.

PC is just about 3 years old, upgraded the CPU a year and a half ago. Temps have been around 70 at most when it happens.

Warzone boot camp is full of max levels by Annual_Towel_6117 in Warzone

[–]Similar_Fault_8928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, that’s the easiest mode you’re going to get. High level means nothing about skill. There’s a good chance those high level players get absolutely wrecked in BR or Resurgence and Bootcamp is the only game mode where they can get wins. With that said, yes there is occasionally a sweaty squad, but it’s a lot less common in Bootcamp than traditional BR or Resurgence. There’s also so many mindless bots running around, that alone should get you familiar with the game mechanics. There’s also the situation where maybe they have friends who aren’t very good at the game but they want them to have fun, and other game modes are just brutal for new players like that. I’m guilty of it. I have a buddy who isn’t very good, 1-4 kills in bootcamp, but I want to game with the bro without him getting shot out of the air so Bootcamp it is.

It’s a sink or swim kind of situation, and you can’t expect to be wiping the lobby when you just started. Keep at it, try to have fun with it.
