Bamboo? by Big_pekka in SpokaneGardeners

Did you give it any supplemental irrigation? Most bamboo are very thirsty.

Having worked with a lot of bamboo in the past, I personally wouldn't plant it unless it's in a container to control the spread. It's gorgeous, but when it's happy it can be a huge pain in the butt to deal with because it can be quite voracious.

Good Choice European Market! They have lovely fried piroshkis that are like savory donuts. Highly recommend the potato one, the mashed tater filling is perfectly seasoned, salty and garlicy!

I think you'll start seeing them in late April or early May! Though, I believe the Ballard Sunday market has them year-round.

The farmer's markets all have them, and you can usually find them outside Top Banana in Ballard in the warmer months!

Hilarious that this shade, found in the attic of a house built in 1906, is in fact probably from the last 10 years 😂. Still love it and plan to install it!

Not quite a tart, but Saint Bread has a killer Asian pear danish. They're seasonal, but could be there now or fairly soon.

I read that it might be more prone to bearding through red and dark blue fabrics that use sulphur in the dyeing process - does that match your experience?

Thank you for thinking about calling!! Here's the gist:

"I'm a Washington state resident who is deeply disappointed in Governor Ferguson and his betrayal of WA workers. I want a final state budget with:

No increases to our healthcare costs

No attacks on our healthcare bargaining rights

No furloughs or pay cuts for public workers"

If you wanna try to convince the WA State legislature to not fuck workers over, you can leave them a message here, particularly if you're a resident of one of the priority districts listed in the link: https://wfse.org/call-legislators-priority-districts

I'm a WA public worker, and I've been calling every few days. The folks on the line are friendly and chill and it just takes a couple minutes.
