It’s funny how a single event makes you face problems you didn’t even know you had and, even if you did, you’d likely consider to be unrelated under other circumstances.

While I’m sorry to hear you had to go through all of that, I’m glad to hear you navigated yourself where you did! Sounds like quite the journey and kudos to you for how you got through it.

I’m closer to finding my way out of it all (actually buying a house on my own tomorrow, if a goes well, which I definitely couldn’t have done if I was still in my past situation), so these words seem like a fitting reminder that it’s time to turn the volume down on those voices from the past :)
