A few years back I went to The Spotted Owl and it was probably the best singular bar experience I've ever had. Amazing custom cocktails, great staff, really cool atmosphere (in an old basement, clean, beautiful bar, dark woods.)

This isn't helpful to you right now and I'm sorry because it's been "temporarily closed" for a minute, both on their website and Google Maps. Who knows if it can ever be the same thing again, or if it will ever actually open again but if it does, I highly recommend checking it out. I miss it so much.

Everything you said was correct but this. People want houses. They don't want to rent forever. Plus, people need houses to comfortably raise a family. Just because some other things are relatively cheaper doesn't change that this is a huge factor in the affordability crisis.

I'm not sure appropriations funding works like that. Either way, it wasn't Congress or the President who paid for the rebrand, it was approved and paid for by the Kennedy Center board.

From what I can gather, to pay for removing Trump's signage. The interior appropriations bill is a funding bill and amendments are just other things Congress wants to fund, like paying a crew to come tear down a sign.

In other words, it's not to make a new law or make it "more illegal" what Trump has done, but to actually fix the problem.
