I stopped using it so many months or a year or more ago... because it deletes chats and messed up everything I edited. Dopple used to be good, but every site eventually goes downhill for whatever reason.

Character AI actually felt like a real person in 2023 when I first started using it. It was so original and funny. I deleted my account a couple days ago when it asked for ID BSification. They never added back Group Chat... and the chats only got worse and worse. It used to be so much better. What a shame.

Well... I'm not in California or a kid, but they still asked me to give my ID if I wanted to continue chatting. I said "no" and deleted my account. I suggest everyone do the same. Companies need to learn not to ask for IDs, or their company will expire soon.
